It’s finally here!…. X-Men: First Class

 Just a few more sleep and it’s finally here.

X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

 

Dallas wins Game. Dirk Nowitzki did in lifting the Mavericks again.

Just when the Miami Heat and their fans rejoicing for a premature win, Dirk Nowitzki kill their celebration with a finger roll.

Yes, Dirk Nowitzki did it again. Tied at 93-93 all with few seconds remaining in the clock, Dirk escape the defense and make an easy finger roll basket that make the Mavs win by two points, 95-93. What we saw that moment was a trademark of a great player that no matter how bad you played from the early quarters, making a basket at a crucial seconds and wins a game will all that matters. Nowitzki gave us a stunning finish by dropping a layup going left that makes the ball gently rolling in for an easy two points with 3.6 seconds left. The Mavs is fighting back from the brink to seize control of the series.

Well, we all learned our lessons. “Do not celebrate or give the impression of celebrating, any lead on a Mavericks team that ripped the hearts out of Oklahoma City in a similar situation just a week ago”

Game three will be at the Dallas Maverick home court. Dallas has the upper hand.

"Kung kayong dalawa ay magpapatayan, doon kayo sa labas! Mga leche kayo, kalilinis ko lang ng bahay."

2. Natuto ako ng RELIGION kay Itay.
"Kapag yang mantsa di natanggal sa carpet, magdasal ka na!"

3.Kay Inay ako natuto ng LOGIC.
"Kaya ganyan, dahil sinabi ko."

4. At kay Inay pa rin ako natuto ng MORE LOGIC.
"Kapag ikaw ay nalaglag diyan sa bubong, ako lang mag-isa ang manonood ng sine."

5. Si Inay din ang nagturo sa akin kung ano ang ibig sahibin ng IRONY.
"Sige ngumalngal ka pa at bibigyan talaga kita ng iiyakan mo!"

14. At si Itay pa rin ang nagturo kay Kuya kung anong ibig sabihin ng RECEIVING.
"Uupakan kita pagdating natin sa bahay!"

15. Si Inay naman ang nagturo sa akin kung ano ang HUMOR.
"Kapag naputol yang mga paa mo ng pinaglalaruan mong lawnmower, wag na wag kang tatakbo sa akin at lulumpuhin kita!"

16. At ang pinakamahalaga sa lahat, natutunan ko kina Inay at Itay kung ano ang JUSTICE.
"Isang araw magkakaroon ka rin ng anak, tiyak magiging katulad mo at magiging pasakit din sa ulo!"

DMSF Hospital - Comfort and Style....

The Davao Medical School Foundation Hospital (DMSF Hospital) promotes comfort, quality health care and service to the people. It is a tertiary care hospital with 100-bed capacity. It has a front-wall made up of glass curtain that gives a panoramic view of the city and in some spot, you can actually view Mt. Apo, the tallest Philippine mountain. It's really nice to look at.

It is said that the DMSF Hospital is a strategic scheme desgined to come up with a quality medical health service facility to improve the health conditions of marginalized urban and rural areas while achieving its goal of providing excellent and holistic medical education.

Their two-pronged objectives are:
1.) to improve the health status of selected partner communities in Davao City and nearby provinces, making health services more accessible, affordable and acceptable to the community members, and;
2.) to provide hands-on health learning experiences for the students in the conduct of quality and excellent health care.

DMSF Hospital  has become one of the most dependable and respected hospital in Mindanao that serve most of the marginalized areas in the city.

Miami Heat takes Game One vs Dallas Mavericks

I was excited and eager to know who will win game one. Is it Miami or Dallas? Though my thoughts tells me that Miami has a slight advantage given the fact that it will be played on their own territory, American Airlines Arena. And true enough; Miami did win the first game of the best of seven series.

LeBron James (24 points) and Dwyane Wade (22 points) combine for 46 points as the Miami Heat take charge at late-game run to take the win from the Mavericks in Game 1.  Dallas tar forward Dirk Nowitzki finished with 27 pointsand forward Shawn Marion added 16 points.

Game 2 will be on Friday, Philippine time, at AmericanAirlines Arena.
